This is not a Donkey, Elephant or Tea Party issue; It’s an American delimma which we must resolve by eliminating the rule of money in our political system. It is the same element of greed as shown in the Michael Jackson case. Greed has no boundaries.
Well, said, Daniel. This is a simple issue that can certainly bring the left and the right together. Money corrupts politics. Period. Do we want representative government or government controlled by special interests? Do we want to live in a democracy or an oligarchy? It's up to the people to rise up by the millions, reverse the Citizens United decision, and get money out of politics.
It's important that we all remind ourselves that this is just the beginning, the beginning of a process. We can't let up. There will be attempts to stop this movement, clever, well-funded attempts. We can't allow ourselves to be diverted from our goal of getting the money out of our government, of returning our democracy to the people, and to enact fairness in our economy. The opposition will not give in without a fight, so we'd better be prepared.
Last Friday I went to the local Credit Union and opened savings and checking accounts. I was hoping to get my new checks in the mail before today, but I will have to wait before I cancel my multiple accounts with Bank of America. But CANCEL my BoA accounts is what I will do. That's my kind of protest that actually means something. If 30 million BoA accounts are closed out, that will REALLY say something. A run on the big banks nationwide.

Fortunately for all of us, the waves of collective action and aligned goals keep coming. Each one is bigger than the next. It is my intent to participate in this third wave, and use our collective power to harness it and do one thing – finally end the auction of our government.
