It’s a big day on The Dylan Ratigan Show — we’ll get into the latest out of the Middle East, focusing on Iran and Syria, with someone who just got back from the region. Here’s what else we’re working on for 4PM ET:
To dig in on Iran and Israel, we’ll be joined by Rep. Peter Welch and Roya Hakakian, author of Author, “Assassins of the Turquoise Palace.” Rep. Welch just returned from the region where he met with foreign leaders to discuss Iran’s nuclear ambitions and they expressed “extreme apprehension” about a military strike. We’ll get the latest out of the region, including the violence in Syria.
Today’s Megapanel – Karen Finney, Susan Del Percio and Jimmy Williams – will be joined by Bill Black, Assoc. Professor of Economics & Law, at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. (Worth checking out: our recent podcast with Prof. Black on Occupy Wall Street and the future of our economy.)
Later in the show, we’ll be joined by William Bratton, former NYPD and LAPD police chief who is one of the main proponents of hotspotting. He has a new book out “Collaborate or Perish“ – billed as the ultimate guide on collaboration, a streetwise blueprint for industry, government, and citizens taking action on the crucial challenges of today.
Then, it’s the attack of the tiny typeface! We see it all over the place (take the iPhone’s 32-page user agreement). Small, nearly impossible-to-read type. Why would companies do it? Obviously, they don’t want us to read it! We’ll talk about why they do. To wrap up, David Goodfriend will handle The Daily Rant — today’s topic: money and politics.
Be sure to join in the conversation on Twitter with @DylanRatigan and on Facebook here.

What is it going to take to eliminate the white collar crime? Are we going to have to start taking out the executives of these banks and investment firms? If the law does not solve the problem, then the people MUST take the law into their own hands. The law is only VALID if it applies to EVERYONE, if not, then the LAW is NOT VALID and should not be followed just to protect the ultra rich and those in charge of our financial institutions. Logically speaking, if the law is NOT JUST, then the LAW is WRONG and the people in charge of applying the law should be removed or imprisoned. The many are more important than the few so we have to start taking action to eradicate this problem. My solution, make stealing money in this way TREASON and the punishment is a quick execution. We have radical politicians protecting the wealthy, we need to get radical on them, we need to crush the ones that have caused the financial problems in our supposedly free market system. A free market does not mean that the money is free to take at their whim. STOP PROTECTING THOSE THAT LITERALLY STEAL MONEY FROM THE TAXPAYERS. Are you reading this you backstabbing politicians? Start doing the right things for the people and do not commit treason against the people, you are all committing treason in my book right now by your lack of action towards these crimes committed by Wall Street.
I agree with Rose McDonald. I have been watching Dylan for quite a while now and I am tired of his interuptions. I like Dylan, but I want to hear what his guests have to say, without Dylan butting in all of the time.
Dylan is rambling a lot. It's boring. Everyone loves Dylan but the his wordiness is out of hand. Dylan's dialog has to be more edited, succinct and to the point. Minus all the horseshit……………..
