Happy Friday to all!  Congrats on making it through the week — here’s what’s happening on today’s show.

Tonight’s the Night: Megamillions!   Tonight’s record jackpot is now up to an estimated $640 million and is likely to grow even higher today as more tickets are purchased.  This amount downright crushes the previous record of $390 million, set in 2007.  We’ll talk to NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez, stationed at Goldy’s Card and Gift Shop in Bayonne, NJ to see how busy it is.  And much like thousands of other offices across the country, the DR team has all of our tickets purchased for the office pool.  But what happens after your pool wins the big jackpot?  We’ll get some advice from attorney Eric Shane, an attorney in Florida who specializes in lottery disputes.

The Megapanel: Gross National Happiness.  How do you measure the health of a nation?  We know it’s about more than just dollars and cents.  Now, the government is looking to “Gross National Happiness,” gathering experts in economics, psychology, and even a Nobel laureate to develop a system that can accurately measure “subjective happiness.”   We’ll talk to the Megapanel, Ari Melber (@arimelber), Krystal Ball (@krystalball1) and Toure (@Toure)

Backdoor Bribery: We’ll turn our attention to the newest campaign by our friends at United Republic to lock the revolving door in DC. The group has sent letters to all 36 retiring members of Congress, calling on them to fully disclose on their website which private interests firms they’re currently negotiating with for their next job.  Now there’s a disclosure law currently on the books, but as the folks at United Republic point out, it’s useless because it’s so riddled with loopholes!  We’ll be joined by Lee Fang, Senior Investigator at United Republic to tell us more about their investigations.

The Specialist: 30 Million Jobs.  You may recognize this guest from a classic 80’s sitcom, but these days he’s on a serious mission to get America back to work through the M.O.S.T. Program– John Ratzenberger.  The M.O.S.T. Program seeks out manufacturing companies with job openings, then trains and places workers based on the employer’s needs.  And so far, the success rate is downright incredible.  We’ll hear about what they’re doing right.

Hookin’ Up:  It’s the World Fishing Network contest to find the Ultimate Fishing Town of 2012 — the winning town will receive a $25,000 community donation and of course the type of national exposure that can boost tourism. Our guest is the host of “Hookin’ Up”, Mariko Izumi (@HOOKINUP) who travels the world in search of the coolest places to fish and find the wildest hotspots and best local anglers.

The Daily Rant:  Toure is here with his rant on the media circus around the Trayvon Martin case.
