BEYOND TALK
June 10, 2012Dear Friends,
I left a fifteen year career in financial journalism amid the crisis of 2008. I did this to join the traditional cable news ranks with a clear goal of revealing the ruthless truth about our biggest problems and telling the inspiring stories of those who are resolving them despite all odds.
After three years at MSNBC, two national roadshows and one book, (and a couple of rants,) my objections to our current political process and our dominance-at-all-costs culture that gives us all less, while we pay more is well documented.
Fortunately, I have been inspired by meeting countless “doers” like Bea Cohen, 102 years old and one of the original “Rosie the Riveter’s” to contemporaries like Marine Veteran Colin Archipley who after serving 3 tours in Iraq, started “Archi’s Acres” with his wife in San Diego to teach returning veterans how use low-cost, hydroponic, organic farming techniques to create good jobs that produce twice as much food, at a higher quality, using 90% less soil and water.
They are pointing us — through their actions in history and today — on a clear mission – to seize new tools and take cultural risks to resolve our challenges. Bea Cohen, and millions of other women did this in the past. Millions of men and women are doing this now — simply by daring to create new, sustainable, tolerant, problem-solving cultures in almost every social, personal and financial system.
It is in this context that I have decided to leave cable news to collaborate and join with some of these leaders to experiment and explore new ways to tell their stories.
While it may seem unconventional to leave a rapidly growing political cable show on the eve of a Presidential election, to me, the timing couldn’t be better.
In fact, the thrill of an opportunity to expand new systems that cost less and give us more in every part of life is impossible to pass up. I believe if we are honest about where we are now, honest about where we want to go and honest about how we are going to get there, we may well end up as the hero of our own stories. While I don’t know exactly how my own story will develop, I hope to share some initial details with you soon. In the meantime, keep in touch.
I have had the privilege and confidence of NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC for nine years and want to thank everyone who worked with me in that time, especially Phil Griffin and Steve Friedman, who made the work of the past three years possible along with The Dylan Ratigan Show and MSNBC staff. I look forward to collaborating with all of you in learning, sharing, and building new ways to solve old problems in this expanding mission.
Onward and Upward,
Dylan
As a testament to the cause, and credit to you, here are some of the latest ratings:
The Dylan Ratigan Show is the only cable news program to show total audience growth in 2012 (Year-over-Year/4pm ET). While CNN and Fox fell at 4pm ET, The Dylan Show on msnbc showed healthy gained.
The Dylan Ratigan Show gained in total viewership 18%, while CNN and Fox fell 15% and 7% respectively in total audience (Year-over-Year/4pm ET).
In the 18-34 demographic, The Dylan Ratigan Show gained 17%. Competitors, CNN and Fox fell 42% and 14% respectively (Year-over-Year/4pm ET).

Dylan – you're arguably the only person w/ a daily show on a national network that understands what's happening, cares, and consistently focuses on the issues, which is probably why you're ratings are increasing while others are decreasing. Maybe I'm being cynical but I'm hoping the Sunday night announcement is a contract squabble and whoever is on the other side of it quickly caves. In any event, if you really do end up leaving, your voice will be sorely missed.
I agree, Dylan is talking about what is really going on and making a real difference.
Dear Dylan,
I will miss you in the afternoon. I bet Martin Bashir will too:)
PLEASE, be aware that I think a real threat that the Republican party represents is to the safety of our drinking water. Look at the PA law requiring Doctors to sign a confidentiality agreement before they can be told what chemicals are involved in fracking. Look at OH where the Republican controlled legislature is leasing PUBLIC LAND for fracking. Now I just heard on Stephanie Miller show that Mitt Romney says he will open ALL PUBLIC LANDS for oil exploration if he is elected President.
In PA they are using INJECTION WELLS to dispose of toxic waste from the fracking process. Dylan, if the aquifers become contaminated, what will we do then. Literally, how will we survive.
In addition to gagging physicians, the Republican party wants to do away with regulations and the EPA. Please, Dylan, HELP. Maybe all of this is beyond the scope and intent of your new career path. I just don't know very many people who might be smart enough, courageous enough, and determined enough to stop this disaster before it goes any further. I think they are also fracking in ND, SD, and Montana. They are mining for frac sand in SE MN and in WI. They must use a lot of water to process frac sand. So we waste water and poison water at both ends of the operation. Plus, taxpayers subsidize the process.
Yours is the only news program, I will really miss. Very sorry you are leaving for whatever reason.
I applaud your move, my only question is what happened to "get the money out of politics?"
Don Corn
A loyal fan
Dylan, as a Govt/Econ/History teacher at a public high school in California, I can't thank you enough. You are one of the rare voices speaking out against a tsunami of corporate and billionaire monies that are drowning the average voter. When you speak you speak for those like myself and my students who are constantly fighting the increasingly cynical atittudes in our political mainstream and the intellectual laziness demonstrated in our mainstream media. Please don't leave if it can be resolved. We need a voice and a face. Citizens United cannot stand, and we others who stand with us in the mainstream/cable media.
While I understand why your leaving I'm very sad that we are losing the one voice on cable news that was speaking REAL truth to power. I think your voice and all the other voices you bring to your broadcast or so important right now. We will now be left with the meaningless partisan "Cross Fire" type noise that picks at scabs all day and does nothing to really enlighten its audience about REAL issues.
PLEASE RECONSIDER Dylan!!
Dylan, Watched you for years now, even on "Fast Money", which you were GREAT on, it showed that you were more than the show could show, You are one of the GREAT people, and know that you have an connection with the millions that "know" how corrupt and dirtyour system has become. I prey you can continue this and help to grow this community to stabilize this grand "experiment" we have..and sustain it through competitive fairness, integrity, hard-work, (takes a moral foundation though which keeps it all together..and has been educated out of many)..But Puh-LEEZE..keep up the good fight..and be sure to HOLD your ability to get National large scale coverage on the movement. Look how Ron Paul's movement has been "marginalized".
Dang!…I knew you would move onwards and upwards…it's about time.
Although I would like to keep you tethered to that viewing box at 4 P.M. every day just for me…that would be selfish. Fly my little Birdie…FLY!
But if you can find your way into running for president…the world will be a much better place. Think about it Dylan…think hard.
Dylan – you're the only person who speaks the real deal truth! The only one on Cable and on network TV who offers a real truth about solving and and finding solutions, take note David Gregory!!
Thanks for all the new ways of how I can better mylife of learning and helping others, your voice will be sorely missed.

Time: 3:40 p.m.
Dylan:
It is important for the sake of this country that you continue to initiate your goals for new ideas and procedures on behalf of our government and the environment. Too many people pooh pooh the fact that we are having a climate change which at this time is not good… loosing some islands off the LA coast and the increase in temperatures that are having a "green house" effect. The politicians haven't said anything new. They all repeat the same words and ideas without saying anything fresh and constructive. I will be interested to be informed about your future plans and where I can follow what you are planning to do. Thank you for being you and as you said, "on wards and upwards".
I echo what Michael Olenick said. You are the only one actually dealing with the real issues. Your insight and informativeness is, was and always will be vital to the health of this nation. I will miss you dearly.
Jeff Alley
Dylan – Your show is the only one that I make a point of watching every day.
Hate to see you go for obvious reasons Dylan. Please check out the magazine Ode, it fits perfectly with your new journey. Thanks for all you do!
I figured you’d be the next truth teller to go. As a techie, if you end up in a niche like Obermann please do NOT let the techies use the latest and greatest technology. You lose a lot of viewers that way. In fact, tell them to test it on the oldest supported computers, OSes, and multiple web browsers. You can win this. Oh, and thanks for daring to tell the truth!
Maybe you can be the much needed leader for the Occupy Movement – they certainly need a leader so that they are taken more seriously!
Dylan, it has been a joy to learn from you about the insanity that is our current political system. Whatever the future holds, you owe it to us to keep us informed about where we should be! Be well and prosper!
Dylan……. There is no endeavor to conquer, that the brilliance you procure , can restrain. You will be missed . I look forward to seeing the rewards of the this new adventure for I am sure it will benefit us all. God bless and be well my friend.
Dylan, I have to admit I disagreed with you………a lot………..but I couldn't miss your show. But there is one thing you taught me that I has changed the way I look at things forever: Addressing the "hot spots" to impact the issue. Thank you. I wish you well all ways and always.
It's a difficult thing to be mad as hell about all the things gone wrong, while at the same time working to promote not only much needed discourse but to raise the level of civility — even with those you differ with greatly. You've done that and give us an interesting three years. You've also flogged gently the work of your younger compatriots on air and opened up the closing rant.. The whole has been a platform for the growing numbers of the displaced and impoverished among us.
At the same time, unlike those who just want to rage against everything, what counted was the effort to target specific core problems, the greedy bastards and the rest. Unlike the Tea Partyers, you didn't make things worse.
There's a time to leave every place or job, but you're leaving at your own time and place to do something where you feel you can make a real positive contribution. Best to you. It would be pointless to say remember those who were less fortunate than us (I include myself with you) because I have no doubt.
Good luck and best wishes.
I will miss you show. At least there was an attempt to tell the truth about many of the problems our country faces, and will continue to encounter unless we are honesty, and call a spade a spade.
On another note, I enjoyed Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London. Very informative guest, and tells me how little many of the pundits that were asking questions of him, don't know about history. Yet they are considered experts. No wounder our electorate and our education system is tanking?
Your leaving the airwaves is a loss to us all. I am hoping your voice will not be silent for long. We need people like you to help bring about our better selves.
Good luck, Sir! I will miss your witt, intellect, tenacity and charm. I hope you become the agent of change you seek!
Darn, darn, darn. I will really mis this show!!!
I only hope that whatever you decide to do allows you to expose the corrupt nature of our system and the corrosive individuals who contribute to weaken that which made us once strong and unique in the world. Your mug (as well as your ideas and wit) will be sorely missed!
Of late, my husband and I find ourselves frequently making the comment, "Where's a Roosevelt, when you need one?" Dylan came as close to sounding like TR as anyone I have heard in a very long time. Dylan, how do we get you into our country's most strategic political leadership position?
Dylan,
I guess now that you're leaving, I and many like myself will not be watching MSNBC – YOU were the only host worth watching. (Especially now that the rumor is you will be replaced by the borish, party line, moron – Martin Bashir.) You say what you mean regardless of the network panderings and work to make this not only a better nation but global environment. More importantly, you make people think…..regardless of their ethnicity, political preferences, likes, dislikes, etc. Good luck – hope to hear more from you in the future.
Sad to see you go – you are one of the few shows that I look forward to every weekday… Good Luck in your endeavors…
Sorry Dylan. I'm one person who will not miss you and never watched you, even though I watch MSNBC all day and night (as I'm available). Your conceit is enormous and the couple of times I tried to watch you, your comments/commentaries were just plain hard to follow. I look forward to Martin's new time slot, he's very good, plus I never miss Rachal any night!
Bye!
Dylan you have enlightened me in so many ways there is not enough space to list them all. After being laid off by a bio-pharma company in 2008, your coverage of the energy/sustainability issues has inspired me to go back to my enviro. Sci roots to start an ecosystem company (Dynamic Supplier Alignment.) focused on accelerating the development of clean, green, and sustainable technology products and services to market. Best of luck in your future endeavors and feel free to contact us to discuss a possible visit to Long Island to see how we are collaborating with government, the private sector and academic institutions to create industry and jobs on LI, in NY across the country and in foreign markets.
You are a hero in a media business that are full of cowards. You spoke the truth and you spoke it with passion! It is truley a shame that the rest of the news people dont have enough courage to drop the propaganda and tell the American people what is really going on! I think the world would be a better place if it did!!
That's a bummer Dylan. I really felt you were one of the only ones talking seriously on the energy issues on National television and you were not easily pigeon holed. I just hope there was no conspiracy pushing you out. You threaten the fossil feulers and stuff happens.
Dylan – I am an 80 yr. old woman who listened to you faithfully every afternoon. I will miss you and our show and wish you well in your new endeavor. I have seen and heard a lot in my years and the way our government is going is quite scarey. The first president I remember was Franklin D. Roosevelt. The people really loved him and I believe he did what he had to to bring this country out of the "Big Depression". Enough about me. Good Luck Dylan and may God Bless you in all that you do.
Dylan – you are awesome. I new that you needed to move one to something more and that the avenue of MSNBC was just a stepping stone. I enjoyed you almost daily at 4:00 pm. I would be selfish if I was to say that you need to stay on for more of the same that would be getting old. You deserve to bring on some of what you have to bring on to us. I am looking forward to what new stuff you have to bring. Blessings to you, man.
The only person worth watching on cable news is leaving, but it seems for good reasons.
There are few places where we get real issues explained so clearly and discussed with so much honesty.
Go solve some problems and good luck!
D.R. Your's is my favorite show on t.v. I hate that you are leaving the air but respect that you are inspired to move put yourself in a situation to help our nation look forward and real answers to our problems.
May success follow you.
I will confess that I could not stand that fast talking upstart on CNBC.Mark(Haines) was more my sort of fella. However,it seems that suddenly there was a maverick on the show.Someone that started calling a spade a spade. That was when I became a fan and follower. May God bless and keep you.I hope we lock those ba$tard up yet.
Congratulations on your success Dylan – and good luck in the future. I have enjoyed your book, podcast, and Twitter feed immensely. Looking forward to following you, whatever it is you are venturing on to
Thank you for your passion for the truth and relentless dedication in bringing to light the facts, rather than the usual biased political talking points, as the real causes afflicting our beloved nation. You will truly be missed.
“The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it.”
~P.J. O'Rourke
It really troubles me that the good people always wind up leaving when we most need them. Msnbc is loosing one of the best tell it like it is host. We lost Keith Oberman and now you. WOW !!! THIER are plenty of other host that should leave or maybe fired I.E. David Gregory for instance. You will really be missed Dylan. Good luck in what ever you do.
Glad for you but sad for us. You were always good with a word, gonna miss you.
Dylan, we will miss you terribly…hopefully you will keep all of us apprised of your next challenge. MSNBC has lost an honest, truthful man, and many viewers too, I'm sure. Thanks for being there for us and know we will follow wherever you lead.
Dylan, how could you leave us like this?? You are the voice of reason every afternoon and I am going to not only miss your intelligent mind but also your handsome face!! You bring so much substance and knowledge to us that there really isn't anyone who can replace you. Best of luck to you even if it means the viewers must suffer this loss..yes I am distraught but hope to see you soon on tv again.
I'll miss Dylan on MSNBC… I left a post earlier, but it doesn't seem to get published here. So I'll leave it at that.
Dylan,
Your Show was the ONLY conduit of truth, objectivity, and hard news, among a morass of filth masquerading as "cable news" that actually covered the important stories being neglected by the rest of your peers. I implore you to keep us posted on your progress so that we may join in the struggle and do what Tom Brokow phrased as "… re-enlist as a citizen again" of the greatest country.
I have always looked to your show to pull no punches for either side. What are we going to do without intelligent conversation. I cannot believe you are going.
Though, I will dearly miss listening to you on a daily basis, I know that you'll be out there fighting the good fight! You have educated me, and thus, inspired me to fight our corrupt system as well.
I don't like the timing of this as much we need you and your eye on the economics. We have enjoyed your show. much good luck.
"One door closes, and another opens…" is an old chesnut, but only half true. That new door must be opened by somebody—and that somebody is always you. Can't wait to see which doors you choose, Dylan, and what you do with those new opportunities. As one of my favorite graduation speakers often told new graduates:
"Better get ready for anything, because anything is going to happen!"
To be sure, your many viewers and fans will miss you at 4 o'clock every afternoon,
Dylan. I, for one, hope that your example of hard optimism and passionate insistence on fair play by all Americans for every human on the planet shocks at least some of
off the couch—at least from 4 to 5 p.m. on weekdays—and into action ourselves.
I challenge you, Dylan, to use these last two weeks of your show TO CHALLENGE US to move from being your fans to becoming your allies in action. Many of us share your views of what's wrong, but are not sure what specifically each of us
could do to change things. It's hard to know where to start to effect any change
at all.
This is where you can be of tremendous help, Dylan, precisely because you have been thinking much longer and in a more organized way about so many of the problems our country faces… and what needs to be done to solve them.
If you are ready now to transition your career from respected veteran journalist to leader and advocate, you will find more support than you could possibly imagine!
I hope you won't choose to enter politics. That would inevitably lead to a compromise
of your values, and limit your power as an advocate. Besides, you have a young family. You can't just be off campaigning all the time. Maybe in a dozen years or so!
Whatever you decide, Dylan, keep us in mind. We are behind you all the way!
Penelope Garner
Will miss the best mind Political Journalism has scene in almost 40 years.
I don't blame you for leaving. You seem to take your side rather than the liberal side and that is why I watched your show.
I will be sad @ your leaving, but I have sensed by your demeaner on your program that you have not been happy for a while, as though the thrill/ passion was gone. You are an idealist & these are really tough times for idealists. I wish you good fortune in your future endeavors. Hold onto your idealism.
Please don't disappear! While I don't always agree with you (I do more often than not), you are always clear – never ambiguous, always speak your mind (a great mind it is), and are willing to share your great ideas with the world. Those ideas may save the world economies – certainly they can save ours – and need a platform. So please find that new platform – soon. My entire family watched and will miss you until you return.
Buona fortuna!
Dylan, I'm going to miss you.You have been so right and articulate,I believed the country would respond and our leaders would have the nations interest at heart enough to try to" right " any of the areas that you have spoken of day after day
I have to say I realized it was "over" for the USA when the "GET the MONEY Out" idea didn't skyrocket as I was sure it must
I'm afraid most of my fellow Americans are Misinformed,Uninformed or Uninterested Lemmings.

Dylan, the complexity of emotions I am experiencing in the aftermath of your announcement to discontinue
your show is staggering. Your keen wit and vision serves not only to enlighten and enrich our minds; yet
equally, to captivate and inspire the hearts of so many!!! Where ever your future is centered, be certain,
you have a tremendous advocacy awaiting.
Dylan – I want to thank you for educating me on the topics of BANKING, education, health care (Big Pharma), energy and government. Best wishes on your new endeavor and I have already signed on to your knew website. I look forward to hearing about the 1% of new thinkers looking to do more for less money. THANKS!!!
Dylan in the swiftly changing environment of 'communications' I am sure that you will connect with those who will develop new means for amplifying voices like yours. Current efforts commited to the 'dumbing down of America will, in the long run, not succeed. I look forward to following you and your efforts for a developing a better, saner America.
Congratulations on your move forward. Your voice for helping us all to see a different road for the future will be missed. We must continue to work together to overcome the slavery of poverty that keeps a large portion of the population in that slavery as a small portion of our population works to protect the shrinking number of jobs available for their own. I look forward to future conversations.
You have been an illuminating light in this current dark contentious environrment by educating all of us who are seeking the basic truths about the world of politics and its effect on our lives and country. Thank you, Thank you, and keep illuminating for the rest of us. I wish you the best as you move forward
dylan,
i've appreciated you for a long time. but the system is broken and you know it. and you are PART of the system on msnbc. you make a shit ton of money off the networks that are part of the bank funded power oligarchy.
it's time you leave and do your own thing. as much as I dislike the russians, I think Lauren Lysters' Russia Today program "capital account" is where you need to be. you and her , holding wall street ruthlessly to task in a way that you simply cannot do on an msnbc network program. maybe you think you are waiting for the day when the 'masses' will rise up and you will be the MSM figure to help guide them. you are wrong. you need to leave the MSM syndicate. if you do not, you will have no place in whatever is coming next. you will be left to waste away just like regis and kathy. there is no room for the hangers' ons. look at charlie rose if you want to see the most disgusting examples of so called progressives who became sellouts , or were just sellouts from the beginning.
you cannot hide the msnbc flag you are holding high above your head. watch lauren lysters show if you need to understand.
We'll miss you but we all understand!
Dylan Ratigan for U.S. Senate!
You're the best, Dylan. You make so much sense and maybe that's why you're going. It must be difficult to see what's going on, to know how bad it is, and then to try to talk about it every day without throwing up your hands and saying you've had enough. I wish you the very best in whatever you're going to do.
We need to know the truth not the spin and I looked to you for that. I will miss you very much. The Best To You!
Love your vision – loved 'Greedy Bastards' – love the show – love your focus on people that provide positive solutions. Will certainly miss you on MSNBC but am very much looking forward to seeing what you are going to do next. You bought honesty and depth to cabal news! I hope they learned something from it!
Dylan, you and your MSNBC show were the reason I paid an extra fee to my cable provider for their news package. After June 22 I'm dropping my subscription. Why should I spend my hard earned money so I can raise my blood pressure in order to watch and listen to a brunch of polititians and talking heads playing games while Rome is burning. Its Groundhog day every hour.
Please keep us informed as to your future endeavors.
Hmm, I'd say much success in whatever you do, but its a given!
You are already a hero because you tell the truth. Truthiness, on the other hand, SUCKS!! Thank you for the book, the show, and your involvement in our evolvement. You are also really hot! Don't be a stranger to us! Thanks!!!
You are too smart to go into politics as a career. I hope you find the people who can actually do things and get their stories to the rest of America sitting on their butts waiting for politicians to solve our problems. What a joke.
Good luck and hope to hear from you soon.
It is with genuine sadness upon which we must say goodbye to your msnbc show. It seems that your show always reported a step beyond that of all the others. What makes you different is the insight which all of the other shows often missed. I learned so, so much from you each and everyday. You cut through the b.s.which most programs wouldn't even touched and informed us about what really was going on. Please come back from time to time to give us your prudent insight!!!! ——-a devoted and informed friend.
Dylyn, before you leave you need to do a show on the privatizion of america.Congress is privatizing the TSA,next Medicare then Social Security,
The Military complex controling the military budget. And of course since Citizen United, the privatizing of Congress and mabey even the White House.
Dylan is a rare host who actually possesses a personality…exposes Wall St…& showcases how politics & politicians are toxic. Get on primetime~~you're waaay more vigorous & less pedantic than Rachel. We all loathe Phil Griffin [Cenk & Keith are starters] who hires moronic pundits & predictable speechifiers….aaack. But, paleese~~no "Rants" [You beat up Self-Interest yet all Kelli knows is blk's problems~~Comb your hair & realize that nobody gives a hoot about Snoopy. Anyone who names himself after a dog deserves to be ignored]. zee
Wow! Such a breath of fresh air. I'm a fan. An idea for you Dylan, contact Bill Moyers and get connected to the grants and grant givers & foundations that support a great PBS show and build a new platform. Your voice is too important to be hidden.
Psychology is another broad area that's being rapidly transformed. Out from under the restrictive licensing, "coaches" are spreading the new methods. EFT-Tapping, BSFF, NLP-Dynamic Spin Release and other modern techniques, are accomplishing in hours what used to only partially give way in years of psycho-therapy. For example. with Tapping and my adaptation of spin I have greatly resolved a huge amount of trauma from being the (age 1 to 8) victim of a pedophile ring which included my own father, in just 3-4 months. PTSD gives way to tapping, lots of video proves it with recorded demonstrations.
Yes there is so much new more efficient answers in so many fields of endeavor. And a lot of it free online too.
A bright light in what seems a dim future will no longer be there for me at 1:00 p.m., when I say, "My boy Dylan is coming on." I know that bright light will still be shining though, somewhere else. We need it. We need you. Thanks Dylan
Dylan,
All the best in your new venture. I've watched your rants and smiled in amusement – not laughing at you, but smiling because you're the only talking head that's talking sense.
I look forward to following you on your ongoing journey.
Dylan, if you are leaving the political works, please connect with Gary Johnson on his agenda to become a third party candidate…we need more awareness of his campaign and you have the same ideals and fresh remedies to the mess we are in…I am really impressed with your book GREEDY BASTARDS…it was spot on and unlike most other critiques, you provide REMEDIES & ANSWERS !!! I tell everyone I meet about the book !!
They (Washington culture) all need a boot up the ass, rather than kicking the can down the proverbial road as they are all alike…I wished you would seek office to get this thing on track…I'm DONE recognizing 'them' as the two parties in Washington…that's all they do: treat it & act like it's a party…THREE MAKES IT A CAMPAIGN, HELL YES !!!
Hope to hear more from you…good luck & thanks for all you do!

I know some % of your gains in viewers is due to your show being the only one I recommend unconditionally to everyone of whatever poitical persuasion–specifically because you feature critical and creative thinking–and action, mostly outside of the Gotham politics topic oif the day found in literally every other talk show. Your mmove is completely logical and exciting. Tragic loss in terms of daily strategic intelligence (Chris Hayes not bad on weekends). Thank you–will keep track as you cultivate a more comprehensive coverage of what fantastic people in the US are doing!
Dylan,
I have enjoyed your show.
I find myself agreeing with you on most things and look forward to following your future endeavors.
Best of Luck
Joe
Dylan, The others at MSNBC are going to have to take up the slack created by your departure. I was a believer in letting it all fall down so we could rebuild it. Your show has shifted my thinking to the possibilities of repair rather than resurrection. Thank you, sincerely, for your efforts.
Dylan, I met you in Columbus, Ohio @ The Book Loft. I'm the guy who wanted to meet Jimmy, Karen and Susan and did so thanks to you at The Ohio State University Student Union. Leave when your on the top of your current gig and move on as your doing to bring that Dylan energy to another venture that needs you. Sincerely, Kevin Peterson
It would be fabulous if you could have even a Sunday, one hour show! We all would love to see you return to the public, even part time, to keep us informed and the rest of them honest!
