I find life gets significantly better when I stop worrying about outputs and outcomes, whether it’s in trading or eating or sleeping or thinking, and I worry more about inputs and incomes. If I’m complying to the trading strategy that Mr. Sosnoff prescribes, of trade small, trade often, sell at fifty percent, chances are that my returns are pretty good or at least not as bad as they might have been otherwise. If I focus on eating properly, sleeping properly, getting enough exercise, my body naturally finds its way to a proper, healthy condition. Not by focusing on the outputs, but by focusing on the inputs.
